About the Farmer
Down Home Woman at Heart
I have always lived in the country, and as an adult I can't imagine any place I would rather be. My husband and I started this little hobby farm of ours on November 2016 with four rabbits, and we have been adding on ever since.Â
We live in the middle of nowhere USA, between the towns of Amble, Lakeview, Howard City and Morley, Michigan. We love this area for its abundance in resources as well as for the people who are so welcoming and heart warming.Â
Our goal in creating this little farm is to become more self sufficient in this society where convenience is the name of the game. To do this we are raising rabbits, chickens and this year, hogs to provide for our selves. We will also be growing a large garden that will supply us with most of our vegetables for the year, and will also allow us to sell some of these crops for a profit at local farmer's markets.
